Phylum Cnidaria
Species that belong to the Phylum Cnidaria posses cnidocytes, venemous cells, which help the organism collect and transmit sensory information. These animals possess radial symmetry, which means the organism may be "divided" more than twice while still remaining symmetric. In order to reproduce, males and females release sperm and eggs into the water (sexual reproduction). After fertilisation, they develop larvae which give rise to new jellyfish or which settle on the sea bottom as polyps. [58]

Radial Symmetry [8]
Having a mouth but no anus [8]
The existence of tentacles with stinging cells [8]
A prime example of Cnidarian is the Hydrozoan Jellyfish:
Hydrozoan Jellyfish are animals that mostly live in saltwater, though a few genera within this class live in freshwater. [59]
Because their body is 95% water, they are perfectly camouflaged and transparent. [21]
Their bodies can range in size from the planula larvae which is measured in micrometers to massive colonial corals covering imense amounts of area - that is a huge difference! [59]
These organisms feed on smaller organisms, as their digestive system is a simple and lined with flagellated cells that circulate food in with the filtering of water. [59]
