Eubacteria are prokaryotes, meaning their cells do not have nuclei in which their DNA is stored. 

Within the Eubacteria are species that perform virtually every biochemical reaction known.

Most of the vitamins humans require in their diet can be produced by bacteria, including the vitamin K humans absorb from the Escherichia coli (E. coli ) bacteria in humans' large intestines. [40]

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Escherichia coli (E. coli) is a in the domain Eubacteria, normally found in the intestine of humans and animals.

Some types of E. coli are harmless and others can make people sick, causing diarrhea, urinary tract infections and even kidney failure.

These infections could even be lethal if left untreated. 

When coli bacteria are provided with adequate nutrients at a suitable temperature and pH,E. they are able to double in population within a time frame of 20 minutes. [67]

 

E. coli can be found in improperly cooked meat, untreated drinking water, raw fruits and uncooked vegetables, including sprouts and unpasteurized raw milk and its products. [67]

 

Eubacteria are responsible for many human diseases, but also help maintain health and form vital parts of all of Earth's ecosystems. In fact, we use Eubacteria to produce drugs, wine, and cheese. [40]

 

Eubacteria reproduce asexually, through binary fission. [40]

 

They lack the structures mitochondria and chloroplast, making eubacteria different from the other Domains. [40]

 

Chlamydia trachomatis, for instance, a type of eubacteria, causes sexually transmitted disease in humans. [41]

 

In fact, the disease Chlamydia serious, permanent damage to a woman's reproductive system, making it difficult or impossible for her to get pregnant later on. [41]

 

Furthermore, Chlamydia can also cause a potentially fatal ectopic pregnancy (pregnancy that occurs outside the womb). [41]
